Today’s minor moves as we head into the weekend:
Carolina Panthers
New England Patriots
The Panthers wasted no time placing Scourton on injured reserve after yesterday’s ACL tear. After moving the promising second-year pass rusher and Gray, an offseason signing, off the active roster, the team added recent UFL defender Barrs off a successful workout and Hayes, whom the Titans waived in a series of their own roster moves yesterday.
In New England, the Patriots will open up training camp without their special teams captain. Details were not given for why Schooler, a first-team All-Pro special teamer in 2024, is being held out.
