Minnesota Vikings Reacts Survey: A QB Competition? Or “Competition?”

Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NFL. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Vikings fans and fans across the country. Sign up here to participate in the weekly emailed surveys.

It’s early June and there’s not a whole lot going on, so here’s a brand new SB Nation Reacts survey about our Minnesota Vikings for your voting and debating pleasure. We’ve got a couple of questions for you to weigh in on this week, so let’s get to them.

The less important (in my opinion) of the two questions for this week has to do with some news that broke a couple of weeks ago about the Twin Cities officially being named the host of the 2028 NFL Draft. Specifically, will you be attending when the annual selection meeting makes its way to Minnesota? It seems like something that could, potentially, be a lot of fun, but it also seems like something that folks with any sort of social anxiety might want to stay far, far away from. It will be good for the area from a financial standpoint, but I’m curious to see how many of you among our readership will be making the pilgrimage.

The big one has to do with the Vikings’ quarterback competition that has been taking place during Organized Team Activities and into this week’s mandatory mini-camp. The Vikings’ coaching staff has said there’s a competition for the starting quarterback job between J.J. McCarthy and Kyler Murray (and Carson Wentz, too, I guess). But. . .is there? Is there, really? I suppose it depends on one’s perspective and who you choose to listen to, but I’m not entirely sure that there’s an actual competition for the starting spot at all, which is kind of sad, to be honest. But I’d like to hear what you all think on the subject.

As always, we invite you to participate in our survey for this week by voting in the poll below and by sounding off in the comments section.

With that, have at it, folks! We’ll have the results for you later on this week, or possibly over the weekend.
