We are right around thirty minutes away from kicking off this year’s NFL International Series with a matchup from Croke Park in Dublin, Ireland between the Minnesota Vikings and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Here’s all of the information you need to be prepared for today’s action.
Date and Time: Sunday, 28 September 2025, 8:30 AM Central time
Location: Croke Park, Dublin, Ireland
Television Coverage: KMSP-9 in the Twin Cities area, NFL Network nationwide, NFL+ streaming
Radio Coverage: Vikings Radio Network affiliates, SiriusXM Channel 380, SiriusXM App Channel 820
Line: Vikings -2.5, over/under 40.5
Chris’ Prediction: Vikings 24, Steelers 20
Three Keys
1) Harass Aaron Rodgers – The Steelers have struggled mightily to get anything going with their ground game through the first three weeks of this season, and so the burden on offense has shifted to Rodgers, who is playing his 31st career regular season game against the Vikings. We know that Rodgers isn’t what he once was, but he still has the ability to keep the Steelers close in this one. If the Vikings can make his acquaintance a few times in this one, it would go a long way towards helping their efforts.
2) Spread the ball around – Throwing the ball to Justin Jefferson is always a good option, but this game will see the return of Jordan Addison, and T.J. Hockenson has finally come off of the milk carton as well. Throw in a healthy does of Jordan Mason and the Vikings have enough to take on a Pittsburgh defense that has struggled mightily through the season’s first three weeks. The Vikings just need to keep Carson Wentz upright and let him play the “point guard” role in this one.
3) Win on special teams – The Vikings’ special teams have been pretty solid so far this year. Will Reichard is bombing from long range once again, Ryan Wright is having his best season since his rookie year, and Myles Price is proving to be a pretty good punt returner (just take the occasional knee on kickoffs, Myles). The Vikings aren’t huge favorites in this one, but one or two errors on special teams could potentially tip this one into Pittsburgh’s favor in a hurry.

There you have it, folks! We’ll be starting a brand new Open Thread at the beginning of each quarter, so keep your eyes open for those and keep the discussion moving along accordingly.
Here’s hoping that in about three hours or so we can all get together back here and talk about how our favorite team is still undefeated overseas and look forward to extending that mark even further in Week 5.
SKOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL VIKINGS!!!!
