We are right around ninety minutes from kickoff in Dublin, and both the Minnesota Vikings and Pittsburgh Steelers have released their inactive lists for today’s contests. Let’s take a look at who will be sitting this one out for both sides.
No surprises on the list for the Vikings, as Jackson, McCarthy, Van Ginkel, and Yurosek had all been declared out for the team on Friday’s final injury report. Max Brosmer will, once again, be the backup to Carson Wentz. The Vikings have also elevated RB Cam Akers to the active roster for the second time. He can be elevated once more before the Vikings have to sign him to the active roster to make use of his services.
Highsmith had been declared out on Friday’s injury report for the Steelers, so his absence is no surprise. What is a surprise is the absence of Warren, who was added to the injury report late in the week with a knee issue and will not be able to go today. Warren has, arguably, been the Steelers’ best player on offense through the first three weeks and the Steelers will most certainly feel his absence today.
Those are today’s inactive lists, ladies and gentlemen. We’ll have our first discussion thread of the day coming up about thirty minutes before kickoff at 8:00 AM Central, and we hope that you’ll join us for today’s contest!
