The Patriots will host the Giants on “Monday Night Football”. Despite New York’s 2-10 record, it won’t be the easiest game for New England.
New York parted ways with head coach Brian Daboll on Nov. 10, and interim head coach Mike Kafka has stepped in to take over the role.
Last Sunday, the Giants faced off against the Detroit Lions and pushed the game into overtime, ultimately suffering a heartbreaking loss. This shows that New York can compete with some of the best teams.
One key factor in the Giants’ competitive edge is their creative playcalling, which means head coach Mike Vrabel will need to be well-prepared for their strategies on Sunday.
“I think we will have to be ready for anything they can possibly do, flea flicker, reverses and fake punts, Vrabel said on Saturday. “We have to be sound in all areas, we have to be prepared, and try to handle everything they can do.”
With the Giants out of the playoff race, they have nothing to lose, so they could really go all out to pull off a big win on Monday. New England needs to be prepared for anything.
