The Patriots fell to the Buffalo Bills 35-31 on Sunday, but despite the loss, there were still some standout moments from rookie running back TreVeyon Henderson.

Henderson carried the ball 14 times, racking up 148 yards and crossing the goal line twice. His first touchdown came on an impressive 52-yard run, while the second was an even more remarkable 65-yard dash.

The 23-year-old running back’s performance impressed head coach Mike Vrabel.

“I thought we had a good plan,” Vrabel said on Sunday about Henderson’s performance. “I thought our coaches had a good plan and did a great job. And we’ll go from there.”

Quarterback Drake Maye also praised the young running back for his performance.

“Just get him in space,” Maye said. “He’s tough to tackle. He’s got good vision. He’s fast. He can make one cut and he’s gone. And he probably would have outran them if I wasn’t down there. So, he’s a great player for us. And we’ve just got to continue to make more plays to come out with a W.”

Henderson will aim to build on his impressive performance next Sunday when the Patriots head to Baltimore to take on the Ravens.
