The New England Patriots are enjoying some well-earned time off during their bye week. However, for head coach Mike Vrabel, there was one big order of business he had to take care of before the team returns to action.

During the month of November, Vrabel partook in “Movember,” which saw him grow out a moustache to help raise awareness for men’s health. The cause hit home extra hard for Vrabel this season, as defensive coordinator Terrell Williams has missed the majority of the 2025 campaign after being diagnosed with prostate cancer in September.

Vrabel’s moustache drew quite a bit of attention among fans, and made him even more popular than he already was (if that was even possible). However, with the calendar flipping to December, Vrabel decided it was time to say goodbye to his moustache, but not before he issued another message on the importance of “Movember.”

“We made it through a whole month of ‘Movember’ with the stache, but more importantly, I want to thank Gillette for helping me bring awareness to men’s health, to allow us to take the time to take care of ourselves, to be there for our families,” Vrabel said in a video posted on the Patriots’ X account. “Thanks for Gillette and thank you for supporting me.”

Considering how New England went undefeated in the month of November while Vrabel rocked his moustache, it was fair to wonder if it’d be sticking around for the rest of the year. Then again, the Pats also didn’t lose in October when Vrabel didn’t have his moustache either.

What happened in the past, though, isn’t what Vrabel is concerned about. The Patriots are moving forward, and when they return to action, they will take the field for a very important divisional matchup against the Buffalo Bills.
