Well, it started off better. The Tennessee Titans got a field goal and a touchdown on their first two drives, respectively. They were even up 13-10 late in the second quarter. Then, like always, the wheels fell off. The New England Patriots scored 21 unanswered points to win 31-13.

Cam Ward threw for 255 yards with a touchdown and an interception. He also lost a fumble that went for a New England touchdown. The only thing left to care about this season is Ward’s development. It’s an uphill battle with the lack of talent around him. He was sacked five more times today.

The biggest positive on offense is the rookie pass catchers. Chimere Dike had four catches for 70 yards and a touchdown. Tight end Gunnar Helm had four for 36. Elic Ayomanor had two for 29. Those three are a good corp to build around.

Jeffery Simmons got hurt. This defense is bad with him. They are abysmal without him. Hopefully, he will be back out there because he is playing at an All-Pro level this season.
