The game was as thrilling as his teams play–a one possession game. After a week filled with contract speculation and his future, Tomlin’s Steelers delivered his 190th victory.
Reeves won most of his games with the first of his three head coaching stints in Denver. Tomlin has won all 190 with Pittsburgh–only Chuck Noll, Tom Landry, and George Hallas have more as a single-franchise head coach.
The Steelers head coach is in his 19th season at the helm. While he has become polarizing among fans and media in recent years, it truly is a remarkable accomplishment to accomplish.
You won’t hear Tomlin divulge much into this accomplishment. The Steelers still have a long way to go in pursuit of the postseason. Today, however, his squad punched his ticket further into NFL history. Tomlin will need four more wins to surpass Noll as the franchise leading mark.
