Two former Eagles teammates are reuniting as competitors in Philly.
No, it’s not a celebrity boxing match.
Former Philadelphia Eagles players Michael Vick and DeSean Jackson are squaring off as opposing head coaches in a college football game between Norfolk State and Delaware State that will be held at Lincoln Financial Field on Thursday, October 30.
Vick was hired by Norfolk State earlier this year while Jackson was brought on to lead Delaware State’s program. These HBCUs both compete in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC), so, it could be an important game for each side. It’ll be interesting to see how Vick and Jackson fare not just as first-time head coaches.
If you have any interest in attending, tickets and ticket packages will go on sale at 10:00 AM Eastern on Tuesday, June 17 at Ticketmaster.com.
Note this game will be taking place during the Eagles’ Week 9 bye. It’ll also be going on at the same time as a Thursday Night Football matchup between the Miami Dolphins and Baltimore Ravens.
