Former NFL star Michael Strahan has come under fire for his comments regarding Myles Garrett.
The Cleveland Browns defensive end is the NFL’s new Sack King after breaking the previous record set by Strahan. T.J. Watt joined Strahan at 22.5 two decades after he set it, but Garret blew through it in Week 18, cutting it close.
Strahan, though, has refused to give up his throne. The New York Giants legend would note that he got to his during a 16-game season.
“I mean I hold the record for 16-game season, they hold the record for 17-game season,” he said on FOX.
Reporter Jeff Kerr has since pointed out that Garrett played far fewer snaps than Strahan despite playing one more game.
“Myles Garrett played 130 fewer snaps in 2025 than Michael Strahan did in 2001. Records are made to be broken,” Kerr wrote in a tweet.
Of course, other fans chimed in.
“F**k that selfish guy…and his panelists should have given him shit for saying it,” one said.

Michael Strahan played fewer games; Myles Garrett played fewer snaps. It gets subjective at this point, and we suspect Strahan will die on this hill. But the records will only show that Garrett is the all-time leader, until someone comes along and breaks it in an 18-game season…
