An angry Pittsburgh Steelers fan could be heard screaming a harsh and unnecessary message to quarterback Aaron Rodgers after Monday’s ugly playoff loss to the Houston Texans.
Aaron Rodgers’ potential final NFL game was a disaster for the ages. The Steelers were humiliated 30-6 by the Texans, extending their miserable playoff losing streak to seven games.
Per ESPN, Rodgers was held to 17 completions for 146 yards, no touchdowns and one interception. He had a pick-six and a fumble lost and returned to the end zone for a touchdown.
ESPN’s cameras caught Aaron Rodgers walking past fans as he headed to Pittsburgh’s locker room. One Steelers fan could be heard screaming, “Retire Aaron!” as he left the field, perhaps for the final time:

Rodgers has mulled retirement since the 2021 offseason, only to sign up for football again. We’ll see what the future holds, but it already feels like we’ve witnessed the end of his legendary career.
But never say never, folks. Nobody thought Philip Rivers would come back at the age of 44 after a five-year retirement, after all.
