Following his stunning trade from the Dallas Cowboys to the Green Bay Packers, superstar pass rusher Micah Parsons put out a statement thanking the Cowboys organization and its fans.
“From the moment I arrived in Dallas, you embraced me and my family as your own,” Parsons told fans. “You made a kid from the east coast feel right at home in Texas. Every time I pulled up to work, every time I stepped onto that field, I felt the weight and pride of representing you. You didn’t just give me a jersey, you gave me a place to belong.”
Apparently, however, those niceties do not extends to Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, who is the primary reason the two sides could not reach a contract extension.

Parsons has been a force in his first two games in Green Bay. He already has 1.5 sacks, and he generated pressure on 21.6 percent of his rushes in the Packers’ 27-18 victory over the Washington Commanders on Thursday night.
After the game, Parsons did an on-field interview with Amazon Prime. During the interview, Green Bay fans could be heard chanting “Thank you, Jerry!” referring to Jones and his willingness to trade the superstar pass rushers.
Rather than ignore the chants, Parsons decided to revel in them, hyping up his new home fans as they got louder and louder.
It’s hard to blame Parsons if he has any animosity toward Jones. He was the Cowboys’ best player since he stepped onto the field as a rookie, and Jones needlessly waited to get a contract extension done.
Now, Parsons is leading one of the best defenses and best teams in the NFL. Meanwhile, Dallas is looking at a roster that’s badly lacking effective pass rushers.
