Micah Parsons is a part of the first Dallas Cowboys training camp practice of the year.
Training camp began in earnest for the Dallas Cowboys on Monday as they took the field for the first time in Oxnard. To be clear this is still without pads.
On the subject of transparency, that is what everybody is looking for when it comes to the status of Micah Parsons. The Cowboys are still in the middle of negotiations with Micah, although as of Monday morning they reportedly had not even made an actual offer to him yet, and whether or not Parsons was going to “hold in” remained to be seen.
Brian Schottenheimer said on Tuesday that Micah would be present during practice as the day went on and was proven to be correct.
It should be noted that no serious physical activity was on the menu for the Cowboys during their first practice of camp. When things ramp up and particularly when pads go on it will be interesting to see if Micah remains involved, obviously we all hope this is taken care of before then.
