Micah Parsons’ latest social media activity seemingly confirms that he’s truly done with the Dallas Cowboys.

Three weeks ago, Micah Parsons publicly requested a trade from the Cowboys in a lengthy statement shared on social media. The 26-year-old cited frustrations with the lack of progress in contract negotiations, noting that he “personally” submitted his trade request to Stephen Jones.

If Cowboys fans didn’t need more concerning indicators that Parsons has no plans on returning to Dallas, then you might not want to look at his latest social media activity.

Among them: Parsons doesn’t reference the Cowboys in his Instagram bio. That part has changed to “TBD”, so make of that as you will.

Things have indeed gotten ugly and testy in Dallas following Micah Parsons’ trade request. One disgruntled Cowboys fan was kicked out of a team practice for carrying a “Fire the GM” sign while chanting “Fire Jerry.”

And for what it’s worth, ESPN’s Adam Schefter said he’s “comfortable” in reporting that Parsons will not finish his career with the Cowboys.

Cowboys Need To Resolve The Micah Parsons Situation ASAP

The longer the Cowboys drag on the Micah Parsons situation, the more everybody loses. Jerry Jones has to submit his last (serious) contract offer, and if it’s not good enough for Parsons, the Cowboys need to trade him.

Teams won’t be as willing to pay a premium for Parsons now compared to after the season starts. Dallas would likely get multiple first-round picks in a Parsons trade, and potentially an impactful roster player.

Dallas still has time to get an extension done with Parsons, but neither side will benefit from this if it continues into the start of the regular season (the Cowboys kick off their campaign on Sept. 4 against the Philadelphia Eagles).

Jones is responsible for letting it get to this point. It’s on him to fix it sooner rather than later.
