Micah Parsons has set social media on fire when he demanded a trade from the Dallas Cowboys.
Parsons requested a trade from the Cowboys on Friday via his personal X account. In particular, Parsons’ statement included the following: “I no longer want to be here. … I no longer want to play for the Dallas Cowboys.”
The star pass rusher released a lengthy statement Friday, detailing his frustrations with the team’s approach to negotiating his next contract.
“Yes, I wanted to be here. I did everything I could to show that I wanted to be a Cowboy and wear the star on my helmet,” Micah Parsons said.
Parsons’ trade request came hours after The Athletic’s Dianna Russini reported his relationship with the Cowboys had “deteriorated to the point where the star pass rusher is considering drastic measures, which could include a trade request or even a declaration that he is severing his relationship with the team.”
It turns out that we know exactly where Micah Parsons would want to go.
During an earlier podcast episode, Parsons stated that if he were to ever leave the Cowboys, he would want to return home to play for the Steelers.

After the Cowboys and Micah Parsons have so far failed to agree on a contract extension, the star defensive end officially asked for a trade.
As exciting as this might be, you should know that Jerry Jones will pay up.
It would be shocking if the Cowboys actually traded Parsons.
Dallas’ star defender has spent four years with the franchise, and since stepping foot on the field, he’s been one of the most dominant forces in the NFL.
