Last month, former NFL star Antonio Brown was taken into custody by police after a fight ensued and shots were fired at an influencer boxing event in Miami. Brown claimed that he was the victim of an attempted robbery and he was only defending himself. Police apparently disagreed and since issued an arrest warrant for Brown on a charge of attempted murder.
Antonio Brown was initially released from police custody and claimed, in all caps on social media, that he “WAS NOT ARRESTED.” That was no longer the case a few weeks later as Miami-Dade police filed an arrest warrant for Brown accusing him of attempted murder.
Brown responded to the arrest warrant by posting a series of videos and images of himself on social media. He then claimed that he is the victim of racial profiling in further social media posts.

Antonio Brown has also left the country, traveling to the Middle East, visiting Dubai and the United Arab Emirates, while a seven-page warrant awaits him in Miami. On Monday, the Miami-Dade Police Department addressed Brown leaving the country while being the subject of an attempted murder arrest warrant with a bond of $10,000 and an order of house arrest.
According to the Miami Herald, Miami-Dade Police Chief Manny Morales believes Brown is still in Dubai. He says the police have been in contact with Brown’s attorney and they are just waiting for him to return to Miami and be taken into custody.
“We’re not going to be sending anybody there,” the chief said. He also stated that Antonio Brown is not considered to be “on the run” as the arrest warrant was issued after Brown left for his trip.
The man who claims Antonio Brown shot at him, Zul-Qarnain Nantambu, says the former NFL star is “a liar” and owes him tens of thousands of dollars, which is why he created the scene at the boxing event.
“I don’t know if [Brown] premeditated a thought in his mind, like: ‘Okay, I’m gonna say that he tried to take my chain and I’m gonna kill him and I don’t have to pay him his judgment,'” Nantambu told DailyMail.com.
Nantambu also said about Brown, “He plays gangster and plays the police at the same time, then he blames CTE.”
