Miami Dolphins Unfinished Business You Want Addressed
The Phinsider The Phinsider

With likely the lion's share of free agents our Miami Dolphins are going to add this offseason being already added at this point,t I asked the following question in a previous post:

What area of the roster/positions would you still like to see your Miami Dolphins address before the draft via free agency? Beyond the specific area of the roster or position, do you have any players you believe the Dolphins should re-sign from their own list of free agents or another free agent still out there from another team that would be an excellent fit for this roster?

Below are some of your thoughts and answers-

finfanfromsiam says hi and wants a free agent addition from last season added back to the roster.

Calais Campbell and evening!

Alley Gator wants the safety free agent from the Colts.

Julian Blackmon, S, Colts. It fits for zone, cover 2, and cover 3. Counting on injury-prone Ifeatu

dedstrk316 wants some more help for the defense that is not injury-prone.

We need to get a DL or an actual CB not an injury prone Artie Burns. If we can get one of those two I’d feel okay going into the draft. CC being the obvious choice for me. I’d also accept getting Julian Blackmon. Then we can go into the draft looking to select one or two of these positions in the first and second round.

Jptapt doesn’t believe the front office has addressed any position correctly up to this point.

I’m not sure any positions have been addressed adequately. Maybe some backup spots at best. As I said elsewhere, I don’t see anything yet that makes me think we are headed to the playoffs this year. Maybe it’s me, but I just don’t see it so far.

Dolfanjoe second’s Clark's sentiment. And for my money, a past-his-prime Calais is still a damn good option.

Cambell ? He’s old and past his prime ! Certainly someone will tell him this and he will get his cane and just make it to the lounge chair ! Who wouldn’t want him on there team ? Get him signed and wait till the draft and the undrafted. Truly our only hope for the season !

cyberflea did not have an answer but did have some interesting information.

NFL.com Rank: 20 Among AFC Teams: 9

Analysis: After losing starters on both sides of the ball, the Dolphins have tried to patch those holes in the secondary and on the offensive line. But more than anything, it has been a steady drip of end-of-roster additions. (For example: New RB Alexander Mattison will presumably play a bit role in short-yardage situations, at best.) They’re preaching patience on South Beach, but it’s hard not to be more than a little concerned with the fact that a few starting jobs are up for grabs now, and we still don’t know if LT Terron...
