Earlier today, it was reported that nine-year veteran outside linebacker Matthew Judon was visiting with the Miami Dolphins, with both parties interested in getting a deal done.
Well, that deal has apparently been agreed upon, as Ian Rapoport of NFL Network is reporting that Miami and Judon have come to an agreement on a one-year contract.
Tom Pelissero, also of NFL Network, then chimed in to let the world know that Judon would be making up to $6 million from the Dolphins for the 2025 NFL season.
Judon bolsters an already ferocious group of pass rushers, with Jaelan Phillips, Bradley Chubb and Chop Robinson leading the charge. However, with Phillips and Chubb dealing with injuries the last couple of seasons, general manager Chris Grier made sure to sign some insurance in case the injury bug bites once more.
Letβs hope that it doesnβt.
We will continue to keep you updated with all things Miami Dolphins as the team prepares for their final preseason contest which will take place this Saturday at home against the visiting Jacksonville Jaguars.
