The Miami Dolphins were dealt a huge blow after the news came out on Kader Kohou.
After suffering an injury during Saturday’s practice, Kohou was believed to have suffered a significant injury, but it was worse than they would have imagined.
According to multiple reports, the Dolphins’ star corner is done for the season after suffering a season-ending knee injury.

Head coach Mike McDaniel told reporters Wednesday that the Miami Dolphins are placing veteran cornerback Kader Kohou on the injured reserve, officially ending his 2025 season before it began.
“It’s a day-to-day evaluation with some swelling,” McDaniel initially stated on Monday.
“So, we’re a couple of evaluations away, in the next couple of days. We’re really just taking it day by day and seeing where it’s at.”
The updates on Kader Kohou were initially not promising, as he was kept out of practice. Mike McDaniel stated that there was too much swelling to know the severity of the injury.
Now, it has been confirmed that Kohou will be out for the 2025 season, which will be a massive blow to an already thin secondary.
The 26-year-old has played in 47 games and started 38 in three seasons with the team.
Kohou re-signed with the team on a restricted free agent tender earlier this offseason. He’s due to become an unrestricted free agent next spring.
Coach Mike McDaniel said that Miami Dolphins cornerback Kader Kohou is out for the season.
Miami will need veteran slot cornerback Mike Hilton to fill a big void as a result.
The former Pittsburgh Steelers and Cincinnati Bengals signed with Miami a few days ago, along with fellow free agent Jack Jones.
