With all expectations pointing to our Miami Dolphins rolling with a run-first approach on offense with a new starter at quarterback in Malik Willis, who is known for his ability to pick up yardage and first downs with his legs, I asked the following question last week:
Considering Malik Willis’ aggressive style of play, should the team prioritize carrying three quarterbacks on the 53-man roster? If so, do you believe the current roster has three capable options, or should the team look to the waiver wire or a trade to secure that third spot?
Below are some of your thoughts and answers-
Educated money, a self-described “football guru,” says two is enough. Also, can we retire the terms “hater” and “haters” for those who just happen to not hold the same opinion as ours, already?
Two is definitely sufficient considering we’re gonna be more of a run attack style offense so with that being said, I think this team can surprise a lot of teams considering they don’t have any film on this offense this quarterback, this new coaching staff so I think if our coaches can actually coach we should be able to win 10 to 12 games with a young healthy roster and let me put things in perspective for most of you people out there the critics if you will if you’re in the NFL you can play football. So for all the haters and the doubters out there, we can win 10 to 12 games and make the playoffs and if we want to shock the football world, let’s win a few playoff games as well. I fully believe we can do that with this roster only if the coaches are any good.? so with that being said to the media, why don’t we start shining a bigger light on the coaches and their play calling and how they bond with the players as far as everyone buying in and in all fairness talent wise all 32 teams in the NFL are equal the difference is the coaching and the plays that they call for their players because an outstanding coach knows their players and creates plays for their players. I am a football guru and I do know what I’m talking about.

Two is definitely enough. We’re not going anywhere, and you have an okay backup in ewers. If malik goes down he starts and you bring in one of the two off the street that went through training camp. Not likely either is getting signed. If you want to waste a practice squad spot on one of them, then fine.
