The Miami Dolphins have had a roller coaster of a season, starting the year at 1-6 before winning four of their last five to climb back into the AFC playoff picture at 5-7. Miami is trying to make an improbable in-season turnaround and a run into the postseason, an effort that continues this weekend as they face the New York Jets for the second time this year. Can they back up their Week 4 victory over their AFC East rivals on Sunday?
As the Dolphins have worked too hard to turn the season around, the trust fans have in the team has also started to turn around. Where do we stand heading into Week 14, with Miami on a three-game winning streak? Our Weekly SB Nation Reacts survey results are here to see how the fans are feeling about the direction of the Dolphins.
Ahead of Week 1, Dolphins fans were unsure of how they should feel about the 2025 edition of the team, with 45 percent of the responses indicating there was trust in the direction of the club. That quickly dropped to five percent after Miami was crushed by the Indianapolis Colts in Week 1. It hit a season – and all-time – low at three percent in Week 7.
Then it started climbing, just as Miami began looking like a more competitive team. By Week 11, it was up to 43 percent, though it ticked down to 41 percent in Week 12 and 34 percent in Week 13, despite Miami’s wins.
For Week 14, with the Dolphins now 5-7, the fans are starting to trust again. This week’s fan confidence came in with exactly a 50-50 split on the vote. While it is not a true majority, the fact that we are now at 50 percent gives us the most positivity the fans have felt all season. Now, Miami needs to destroy the Jets on Sunday to continue that upward movement and pull the fan confidence into a majority on the positive side.

The national SB Nation Reacts survey this week included a question for each division, asking fans to predict who will be the champion when the season ends. For the AFC East, the question comes down to two options – the New England Patriots or the Buffalo Bills.
New England has a 2.5-game lead heading into Week 14, giving them a huge advantage over Buffalo and likely making them the top team in the division this year. The fan vote agreed that the Patriots are likely locked into...
