This time of year, NFL analysts often scramble for storylines during the offseason’s news drought. ESPN, as a dominant force in sports media—particularly following their increased control over the NFL Network—is no exception to this trend. One of those recent storylines on ESPN was who has been the biggest surprise for individual NFL teams this offseason. For our Miami Dolphins, ESPN went with tight end Greg Dulcich.
The blurb regarding our Dolphins (HERE) was written by Marcel Louis-Jacques, a reporter familiar to most Phins fans. He noted that starting quarterback Malik Willis clearly displayed trust in Dulcich during team drills. Furthermore, he highlighted that after returning to the roster in Week 8 following an IR stint, Dulcich recorded the second-highest yards-after-catch (7.6 YAC) of any tight end in the NFL.
