The Phinsider
After following the national NFL conversation, it’s clear that expectations for the Miami Dolphins this season are dismal. Most media outlets and talking heads are predicting a difficult year, with consensus ranging from 2 to 5 wins. This skepticism is mirrored in the betting markets, where major sportsbooks like FanDuel and MGM have set the Dolphins’ over/under at just 4.5 wins. Expert projections are similarly pessimistic: ESPN’s Marcel Louis-Jacques anticipates four wins, while his colleague Mike Clay expects only 2.5. Meanwhile, Sports Illustrated analysts predict three wins or fewer, and a panel of NFL.com writers ranges from a low of 2 wins (Nick Shook and Dan Parr) to a high of 5 wins (Bucky Brooks).
But what do you, the die-hard Miami Dolphins fan, believe, given that we, as a whole, consume far more information about our favorite team than most national talking heads?
So this evening’s very obvious question of the day is:
What do you see as a realistic record for the 2026-2027 Miami Dolphins? Is your take more optimistic than the national media’s, and if so, what’s the reason for this, in your opinion (ignorance, bias, etc.)?
