Fans of the Miami Dolphins had dreams of the team finally breaking their quarter-century playoff win drought this year, but through six games of the 2025 National Football League season, those dreams have turned into terrifying nightmares.

The Dolphins sit at 1-5 a third of the way through the season, with their lone win coming against the New York Jets — the NFL’s only winless club.

Due to their disappointing performances, Miami has become the butt of many jokes around the league. One outlet that loves to pile on the Dolphins is ProFootballTalk.

Mike Florio released his weekly power rankings ahead of week seven, and if you’re looking for Miami on that webpage, just keep scrolling down…

The Dolphins came in at #31 — ranking just ahead of that winless team in green from New York. There was no change in their ranking, as they came in at #31 last week as well. However, two weeks ago, the Dolphins found themselves all the way at #28 after defeating those Jets on Monday Night Football in week five.

The Dolphins will be on the road in week seven — facing the Cleveland Browns on Sunday. The Browns check in at #28 in Florio’s latest power rankings, so if Miami can come away victorious against Dillon Gabriel, Quinshon Judkins and crew, they may find themselves making a leap — okay, a light flit — up the PFT board once more.
