Maxx Crosby may have played his final game with the Las Vegas Raiders.
The Las Vegas Raiders placed their star defensive end on injured reserve on Saturday. It ended his season due to a knee injury. The team decided to shut down the five-time Pro Bowler “with Crosby’s best interest in mind.” He certainly did not agree.
FOX Sports insider Jay Glazer said the Pro Bowl defensive end walked out on the team after hearing the news. Crosby is expected to undergo knee surgery in the near future, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
The Raiders do not want to risk further injury for Maxx Crosby. However, they are also chasing the No. 1 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. Should they get it, the team might seriously think of trading Crosby to get even more draft picks.
Crosby is evaluating his future with the Las Vegas Raiders — the only NFL team he has ever played for. The Raiders shut down Crosby for the season ahead of a Week 17 game against the New York Giants due to a knee injury.
His unhappiness has led to trade proposals. Crosby is understood to have become increasingly frustrated with the organization over recent weeks. He will play no part in the Raiders’ final game of the 2025 NFL season as a result.
Now he may never play for them again. Bleacher Report predicts that the Raiders could trade Maxx Crosby to the Baltimore Ravens. In return, they receive WR Rashod Bateman, a 2026 1st-round pick, and a 2027 1st-round pick.
Bleacher Report predicts this INSANE trade proposal between the Raiders and the Ravens this offseason:
Ravens receive:
DE Maxx Crosby
Raiders receive:
WR Rashod Bateman, a 2026 1st-round pick, and a 2027 1st-round pick

That is a lot to give up, but he might be that key player to get the Ravens over the hump. The 28-year-old has remained loyal to the Raiders. He even signed a three-year, $106.5 million extension this past offseason. However, everybody has their breaking point.
