Sean McVay all but promised over the weekend that Matthew Stafford would re-join the Los Angeles Rams for Monday’s practice; however, the veteran quarterback was seen wearing street clothes and will not workout with the team, per Adam Grosbard of the LA Daily News.
Stafford reportedly threw over 60 passes in a ramp up session on Saturday. McVay said during the first preseason game against the Dallas Cowboys that his signal caller accessed all areas of the field and looked great.
Instead of practicing, Stafford will receive treatment inside of an Airstream-style trailer:
Ammortal advertises itself as a “wellness device that aims to optimize human performance and promote holistic health through a combination of non-invasive technologies.” He is not practicing today.
Stay tuned at Turf Show Times for if/when Stafford re-joins the team for practice. On a positive note, Kobie Turner and Kam Curl both returned to the field on Monday.
