The NFL’s crop of starting quarterbacks is changing at a break-neck pace, including 6 games on the L.A. Rams 2025 schedule against a team that has a different starter than they did to start 2024. Since the Rams traded Jared Goff for Matthew Stafford in 2021, over 20 teams have made a change at quarterback, not including Detroit and L.A.. And most of those teams got younger at the position. Significantly younger.

As a matter of fact, of the 14 unique starting quarterbacks scheduled to play against the Rams in 2025, only two of them have had their 30th birthday yet and thy oldest name is Jared Goff.

  • Matthew Stafford is 37 and 193 days old.
  • Goff, the oldest QB on L.A.’s schedule, is 30 and 309 days old.
  • Baker Mayfield is also 30, but younger than Goff
  • The average of the Rams 2025 schedule QBs is: 26.5 years old.

That makes Stafford over 10 years older than the average QB on the Rams schedule. Coincidentally, Goff, Stafford, and Mayfield have all played for Sean McVay in L.A..
