Former Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and former defensive coordinator Matt Patricia used to walk the same sidelines, but on Saturday, they were huge rivals.
Brady, a former Michigan quarterback, and Patricia, the current defensive coordinator at Ohio State, reunited just before the Buckeyes kicked off against the Wolverines.
A video showed Patricia and Brady hugging and talking during pregame warmups, and it likely brought back great memories for the two, who were on the Patriots together from 2004 to 2017.
Brady likely wasn’t hugging Patricia after the game, since Ohio State defeated Michigan 27-9, limiting the Wolverines to just 163 total yards and preventing them from reaching the end zone.
Ohio State snapped a four-game losing streak to Michigan, and now it is looking to win its first Big Ten title since 2020.
Patricia is enjoying a fantastic season in his first year as Ohio State’s defensive coordinator, and now he is looking to guide the Buckeyes to consecutive national championships.
