Gaston Gramatica, the youngest son of Super Bowl champion Martin Gramatica, also went into the family business just like his older brother. He is already the most impressive high school football kicker in the country, despite what the rankings might say.
The Class of 2026 recruit came just six yards short of the national record on Friday from NFL range.
I don’t know what it is about this specific Argentinian bloodline but all it produces is massive legs. And they both went on to play college football at the University of South Florida!
Gaston Gramatica stands 5-foot-11, 175 pounds. He plays for Cambridge Christian High School in Tampa, Florida.
Gaston is one of three children born to Martin Gramatica. Martin played 10 years in the NFL, primarily with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Thus, he and his family never left.
The eldest Gramatica made 76.4% of his attempts as a professional, with his longest from 55, and won a Super Bowl in 2003. He also made an FBS record 65-yard kick at Kansas State.
His oldest son, Nico, currently plays at USF. The sophomore kicker accounted for 52 total points through the first six games of the season, with three kicks between 20-29 yards, two kicks between 30-39 yards, two kicks between 40-49 yards, one kick at 52 yards and 28 extra points.
His little brother is already 10 yards longer as a senior in high school!
Gaston will wrap his senior year of high school football in just a few weeks at this point. He is more than halfway through the season.
The little brother of Nico will follow him to South Florida next season. In the meantime, Gaston is banging kicks from NFL range.
The No. 8-ranked kicker in high school football set a school record from 62 yards last week.
