AJ Brown made Marshon Lattimore his b……………. you know where the rest of that sentence is headed. The Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver put the Washington Commanders defensive back in his place after he turned him into barbecue chicken on fourth down during the NFC Championship.
It was yet another scrap between two NFC East rivals with a deep-rooted history of hatred toward one another.
Lattimore signed with Washington during the most recent NFL offseason after an eight-year stint with New Orleans. The 28-year-old has a history of fighting with his opponents. However, he usually got after Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans. They got into it almost every time they got together.
Lattimore is now on a different team in a different division so he had to elect a new Mike Evans. AJ Brown received the distinct honor on Sunday.
The beef started on 4th-and-5 during the second quarter. Brown absolutely cooked Lattimore to pick up an easy first down with a huge gain.
Marshon Lattimore completely crashed out just a few plays later when Philadelphia ran the Brotherly Shove. Brown did not let up as a blocker on the edge which did not go over well. The two went at it in the end zone and benches nearly spilled out onto the field for a brawl.
