An unnamed coach was reportedly once fired over circumstances similar to those of former Michigan HC Sherrone Moore. Now, fans are trying to figure out who the mysterious coach was.

On Wednesday, Michigan fired Sherrone Moore after discovering that he was having an inappropriate relationship with a female staffer. In another disturbing twist, Moore was arrested yesterday for allegedly assaulting a woman, who told 911 that the subject had been stalking her for months.

Moore and his wife, Kelli, have been married for 10 years and have three daughters. It hasn’t been confirmed, but speculation is ramping up that Moore had an affair with Wolverines staffer Paige Shiver.

According to popular sports reporter Gabriel Morency, Moore isn’t the only notable American football coach who recently lost his job for being involved with a mistress. Here’s what Morency reported:

i cant name names BUT a VERY GOOD #NFL coach got fired few years ago . he was married but showed up at team christmas party with trophy mistress type . team owner is old school and was sickened by it. and fired him after season despite having winning record that year
