The Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs will battle again in the Super Bowl, just as they did two years ago when the Chiefs overcame a 10-point deficit to win their second world championship with Patrick Mahomes.
While the Chiefs’ roster is that different than it was then, the Eagles have, to a certain extent, remade their team after they fell apart down the stretch last season and lost in the wild-card round of the playoffs to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Former NFL quarterback and current FOX analyst Mark Sanchez recently revealed that the way the Eagles function on offense is different than it was two years ago.
“I don’t know if you can call it skepticism or if it’s a respect for Saquon Barkley and the change in offensive identity. This is a complete shift. I know it’s a rematch, but this is a completely different Eagles offensive attack,” Sanchez said on “First Things First.”

Barkley has given Philadelphia a weapon it could’ve only dreamed of two years ago, and he reached the illustrious 2,000-yard club this regular season while also scoring 13 rushing touchdowns and adding 33 catches for 278 yards and two touchdowns.
On the other hand, though they were first in rushing attempts this season, they were third in that category in the 2022 season, when they also were fifth in total rushing yards and first in rushing touchdowns.
Many expect the Chiefs to stack the box to try to contain Barkley, but this game could come down to how well Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts throws the football and how accurate and precise he is with his passing, especially beyond 10 yards.
