Remember that whole Justin Baldoni vs. Blake Lively It Ends With Us drama? Well, it’s still going on, and now it’s dragged Taylor Swift into the middle of it. What does that have to do a man being arrested in the middle of the night at Travis Kelce’s home? The guy was there trying to serve Taylor Swift deposition papers for Justin Baldoni’s lawyers.

The man, Justin Lee Fisher, a former police officer turned private investigator, apparently hasn’t been keeping up with the news about Taylor Swift. Trying to serve Swift legal papers in the middle of the night while she was in the midst of trying to get a restraining order against a dangerous 45-year-old stalker named Brian Jason Wagner who has reportedly gone missing was probably not the best way to go about it.

According to Star, Fisher was apprehended by the Leawood Police Department at Travis Kelce’s gated property in Leawood, Kansas at 2 a.m. Fisher, 48, was caught after a tip from the head of executive protection for a Nashville-based security firm.

Police, and the suspect, are being very tight-lipped

Suspiciously, Star reports, the Leawood Police Department report contained no details about the incident, only stating in bold letters: “This information is restricted as to use and dissemination.” They also refused to disclose 911 audio tapes and bodycam footage, claiming they are not in the public interest. However, another document obtained by Star did reveal one detail: that Fisher jumped a fence to gain access to Travis Kelce’s property.

When asked for comment, Fisher responded, “I’ll be happy to talk to you about it when it is resolved. [I] wasn’t hurt or anything besides being arrested for doing my job and possibly losing my [private eye] license.”

Taylor Swift’s legal team told a judge earlier this month that she would appear for a deposition in the legal battle between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni. Court documents obtained by Us Weekly revealed that will occur sometime between October 20 and 25.
