The man accused of trying to rob Antonio Brown outside Adin Ross’ kickboxing event in Florida on Friday night has claimed that he was actually the victim.

Zül-Qarnaįn Nantambu identified himself as the one involved in the viral incident with the former NFL star and denied being the aggressor, noting he has an ongoing lawsuit against AB and would never risk that by trying to take his chain.

Nantambu gave his side of the story to TMZ Sports, claiming he was jumped by Brown and others, and then Brown later tried shooting him.

The entertainer says he and Brown struggled over the firearm before police intervened.

Brown was detained but was released minutes later after claiming he was the victim of a robbery attempt, which Natambu says never happened.

Who Is Antonio Brown’s Alleged Attacker?

Zül-Qarnaįn Nantambu is a hip-hop artist, filmmaker, and fashion designer.

The New Orleans native is also an activist who gained popularity for displaying a Palestinian flag while part of the field crew during Kendrick Lamar’s performance at the Super Bowl halftime show in February.

The NFL handed him a lifetime ban.

Nantambu, who runs a YouTube channel called Open Book Platform, defended his actions, claiming they were not political and he displayed the flag to show solidarity with oppressed groups.

While some praised his bold stance, he has also been heavily criticized, as have the league’s security measures.

It appears he has a bit of history with Antonio Brown, who has not addressed the gun he was seen with, although he has given a statement.
