Star wide receiver Malik Nabers returned to practice on Thursday for the New York Giants. After missing Wednesday’s practice, Nabers was listed as a limited participant due to a shoulder injury.

The 0-3 Giants will need Nabers in rookie Jaxson Dart’s first NFL start this Sunday if they are going to have any chance to play good offense against the 3-0 Los Angeles Chargers, who are fourth in the league in points allowed.

Tight end Theo Johnson (toe) was also a limited practice participant after missing Wednesday’s practice.

Linebacker Darius Muasau, who missed last week’s game due to a concussion, progressed to being a full (non-contact) practice participant.
