A significant update has emerged on Buffalo Bills superstar quarterback Josh Allen ahead of Saturday’s Divisional Round game against the Denver Broncos.

Josh Allen picked up his career road playoff win against the Jacksonville Jaguars in the Divisional Round. The reigning MVP threw for 273 yards and had three total touchdowns in a 27-24 victory.

Now, Allen and the Bills head to Mile High City to take on the top-seeded Broncos. Buffalo will be short-handed, with veteran wide receiver Gabe Davis done for the season with a torn ACL.

The Bills have a concerning long injury report list for Saturday’s game. Fortunately, it appears their franchise star is close to 100 percent.

On Wednesday, the Bills announced that Josh Allen was a full participant in practice as he nurses foot, knee and finger injuries. This is a very encouraging update for Bills fans, as Allen was limited on Tuesday.

Allen was near-perfect in the Bills’ 31-7 blowout win over Denver in the Wild Card Round last year. Per ESPN, he was 20-of-26 for 272 yards, two touchdowns, no interceptions and 46 rushing yards.

Allen nursed a foot injury late in the regular season and looked physically limited, especially in their Week 17 home loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.

Josh Allen Is 3-1 Against The Broncos

As hard as it is to believe, Allen has only faced the Broncos four times in his career. He led Buffalo to victories in the 2019 and 2020 regular-season campaigns. The Russell Wilson-led Broncos upset the Bills in Week 10 of the 2023 season at Highmark Stadium.

The 29-year-old improved his record against Denver to 3-1 last January. Allen was near-perfect in the Bills’ 31-7 blowout win over Denver in the Wild Card Round last year. Per ESPN, he was 20-of-26 for 272 yards, two touchdowns, no interceptions and 46 rushing yards.

He’ll be challenged big time against a Denver defense that led the league in sacks (68) and finished third in scoring (18.3). Nonetheless, it should be a thrilling matchup between two AFC powerhouses.
