Los Angeles Chargers Players Secretly Admitted To Catastrophic Offensive Failure Against Patriots

If the Los Angeles Chargers looked completely lost against the New England Patriots, it’s because they were. Don’t just take it from me.

According to linebacker Robert Spillane, the offense could not figure out the coverage.

I do not know how this is possible in the NFL but the box score certainly reflects a lack of understanding. It was one of the worst offensive performances in the history of the playoffs.

The Los Angeles Chargers were lost on offense.

There is no better quarterback in the National Football League who has yet to win a playoff game than Justin Herbert. He has an all-time record of 52-43 with a playoff record of 0-3.

The 27-year-old signal-caller completed 19 passes for only 159 yards on Sunday. No touchdowns. No interceptions. His offensive line also allowed six sacks.

The sack total probably would’ve been higher if Herbert did not scramble 10 times for 57 yards as the team’s leading rusher. Kimani Vidal ran 11 times for 31 yards. Omarion Hampton lost one yard on one carry.

Needless to say, the Los Angeles Chargers could not get anything going on offense.

They scored only three points during the second quarter. They totaled only 207 yards, converted only one of 10 attempts on third down as the most successful third-down team in the league, punted five times, and failed to score points on both trips to the red zone.

You get it. It was a terrible offensive performance that resulted in a demoralizing loss.

New England Patriots defensive coordinator Zak Kuhr was in his bag.

The Patriots defense had its way with the Chargers offense. It was a strategic masterclass from defensive coordinator Zak Kuhr.

Even just this moment during the third quarter. New England used a late sub to disrupt the flow of the offense while Los Angeles was in the hurry-up, and the disruption worked!
