The hits keep coming.

A down year for the Cincinnati Bengals defense season just got that much worse.

Mike Garafolo reported Thursday morning that linebacker Logan Wilson will miss the rest of the 2024 season after having a procedure on his knee.

It’s unclear how long Wilson will be sidelined for heading into the offseason.

Wilson played in the team’s loss to the Los Angeles Chargers before something happened during the team’s bye week, leading Wilson to miss the Week 13 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Wilson is second on the team with 104 tackles through the 11 games he played this season, adding on two forced fumbles. His 2024 campaign comes to an end, with the team sitting at 4-8. Knowing a guy like Wilson, he will work as hard as possible to be ready for next season.

With Wilson down, we saw Joe Bachie and Maema Njongmeta on the field at times, but Akeem Davis-Gaither will likely get the bulk of Wilson’s snaps.

With the playoffs all but out of reach, the Bengals coaching staff could use this unfortunate circumstance to evaluate some of the depth in the linebacker room ahead of the off-season.

Here’s to a quick recovery, Logan!
