Football fans noticed a significant change with the “NFL on Fox” broadcasts, and they’re not exactly thrilled about it.

NFL on Fox debuted a new scorebug for Super Bowl 59 between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles. Notably, the network removed the team logos from the graphics and replaced them with the team abbreviations, using giant white font as the letters.

But it appears that Fox Sports has decided to change the scorebug yet again…or at least experiment with something new ahead of the regular season. Folks watching the Buffalo Bills-Chicago Bears preseason game on Sunday made note of the new scorebug:

It appears that Fox will be slightly tweaking the scorebug they debuted at Super Bowl LIX for this season, as they are testing a bug for their preseason broadcast tomorrow night which features team logos instead of abbreviations and moves the timeout indicators: pic.twitter.com/BfRyKhlkq5

But let’s just say that fans weren’t buying the new NFL on Fox scorebug.

It has already been announced that Tom Brady, the network’s $375 million analyst, will call the New York Giants-Washington Commanders Week 1 game with Erin Andrews and Kevin Burkhardt.
