Detroit Lions safety Morice Norris has offered an update on his condition following his hospitalization on Friday night.
The defensive back sustained a frightening injury while playing away to the Atlanta Falcons, going in for a tackle early in the fourth quarter but coming off worst as his head snapped back, prompting medical personnel to rush to his aid.
Norris was stretchered off the field and left the grounds in an ambulance as the game was called off.
Fortunately, he was able to get on social media Saturday morning, insisting he’s “all good.”
“I’m all good man don’t stress it,” he wrote. “Appreciate all the check ins and love.”
The Lions had also offered encouraging updates after Morice Norris was taken to the hospital, revealing he was conscious and alert and had movement in his extremities.
Teammate Terrion Arnold also posted a photo of himself and Norris speaking via FaceTime on Saturday morning.
The former Fresno State standout signed with Detroit as an undrafted free agent last year and spent most of the season on the practice squad. He was competing for a spot on the roster but has experienced an unfortunate setback.
Still, it appears he might not be seriously injured.
