Lions, Chiefs injury updates Week 6: Kerby Joseph, Brian Branch ACTIVE
Pride of Detroit Pride of Detroit

The Detroit Lions and Kansas City Chiefs have declared their inactives ahead of their Week 6 matchup on “Sunday Night Football,” and it appears that Kerby Joseph (knee) and Brian Branch (ankle) will both try to play through their injuries.

Joseph has been dealing with a knee injury for a while now, but has managed to play in games through mid-week practice management. Branch’s injury is new, and he required an MRI during the week, but he also looks like he’ll be able to play. The fact that the Lions declared reserve safety Loren Strickland inactive is encouraging news that the Lions are likely expecting both starting safeties to be able to play a full game.
