The Detroit Lions are rolling right now. While their last week against the Cleveland Browns wasn’t the prettiest win, it was a win nonetheless. Now, at 3-1 and defeating two straight AFC North teams, the Lions have their sights set on a third in the Cincinnati Bengals. The Bengals are without franchise quarterback Joe Burrow and are now on a two-game losing streak. It appears the sky is falling once again in the state of Ohio. The offense has been downright awful, and the defense can only do so much lifting while gassed and ineffective.
“I think what they’re (Cincinnati) trying to figure out here a little bit is, where do we go without Burrow?” Lions head coach Dan Campbell said when discussing the identity of the Bengals. “We know we still have playmakers, they have a little bit of a run game, they got Brown, and defensively, it’s about they need to get takeaways. That’s what it’s gotta be, so that’s a little bit of who they are.”
