Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams is used to the things said about him. For years, fans and critics have taken shots at his sexuality because he likes to paint his nails.
Arguably the most hyped quarterback prospect in a decade, Williams has been painting his nails at least since college. He would paint messages on his nails quite a bit, depending on which opponent he was going against.
So when Williams and the Bears overcame a 21-3 halftime deficit to win at home against the Packers, Lil Wayne took a low blow at him. Lil Wayne, a known Packers fan, wrote, “We just loss a playoff game to a ni–a w purple nails we fkn suk bear azz! Bare a$$!!! We don’t deserve to be in the playoffs. Straight like that.”
Williams responded to the heat with a snowflake, posting, “❄️🦸🏽♂️.” Caleb Williams continued his online trolling with a video posted to his Instagram account. It featured a Lil Wayne song playing over highlights of the game.
He had every right to troll after the Bears overcame a 21-3 halftime deficit and outscored Green Bay 25-6 in the fourth quarter. Williams and wide receiver DJ connected for the go-ahead touchdown with 1:43 on the clock.
Williams called the result “no fluke.”
“We’ve done this multiple times this year,” he said, per ESPN’s Courtney Cronin. “It’s been proven for us to be a great second-half team.
Rapper and Green Bay Packers superfan Lil Wayne feels bad for what he said about Caleb Williams.
After Williams sent a pair of emojis and used his song in response to his disparaging comments, the rap legend broke his silence. Wayne admitted that Williams got the last laugh. He added that he will spend the rest of the postseason “acknowledging & admiring” his game.

Williams threw for 361 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions on 24-of-48 passing. He will try to continue leading the Bears on a magical run through the playoffs. Chicago will face the Los Angeles Rams in the Divisional Round on Sunday.
