Drake isn’t doing much winning in 2025.
The Canadian entertainer is widely considered to have gotten a big, fat L from his beef with fellow rapper Kendrick Lamar, which has probably cost him some fans. Drake got dissed on the grandest stage of them all, the Super Bowl, earlier this year.
But Kendrick has since taken the beef to his hometown, performing “Not Like Us” in Toronto this month.
Drake also has a reputation for making large bets, but not even that has been working out for him lately, not that it ever has consistently
The hip-hop mogul took to Instagram this week to reveal he’s lost over $8 million betting on sports over the past month, admitting he’s been getting fried.
“Gotta share the other side of gambling, losses are so fried right now. I hope I can post a big win for you all soon cause I’m the only one that has never seen a max these guys max once a week,” he wrote.
The above suggests Drake should cut his losses and quit betting immediately, as he’s lost more money than most people will make in a lifetime in the space of one month. But he has no plans to do so and revealed having bet $800K on the Oklahoma City Thunder to close their NBA Finals series with the Indiana Pacers on Thursday night.
Champagne Papi bet $600K on an outright Game 6 victory for OKC and added another bet of $200K on them winning by a margin of 6-10 points.
He’s really not like us, is he?
