A divorce lawyer is making a plea to the newest class of NFL rookies following Travis Hunter’s decision to get married without a prenuptial agreement.
James Sexton, also known as “America’s Divorce Lawyer,” is not only advising rookies to get prenups, but he’s offering to draw them up completely free of charge for the entire class.
Hunter recently wed his longtime girlfriend Leanna Lenee, with the nuptials taking place shortly after he secured a $46.6 million deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Most fans believe the marriage is destined to fail and had urged the former Colorado star to ditch Lenee several months ago.
Who knows? Maybe he proves all of them wrong, but divorce stats suggest he has less than a 50 percent chance of living happily ever after with his new bride.

Sexton is looking to help other rookies avoid potential marriage pitfalls, given that it’s too late for Hunter, and told TMZ Sports he’s willing to give every single rookie from the 2025 NFL Draft class a free prenup, which he says comes risk-free.
“We are going to offer to any participant in the NFL Draft, all of the new rookies that came out of the 2025 Draft, two hundred and something players, we will give them all a free prenuptial agreement,” he told the publication.
Sexton also guaranteed total confidentiality and zero inquiry.
He added:
“No questions asked, total confidentiality. Prenups are not posted anywhere, they’re not filed anywhere, they’re only filed somewhere if there’s a divorce proceeding. So there’s absolutely no risk to these guys to absolutely take us up on this offer. They have way too much at stake!”
The divorce lawyer says getting married without a prenup is a colossal mistake, and he’s looking to normalize the practice.
“It’s for anybody. It’s for everybody, and it shouldn’t be something that’s only available to the wealthy,” he remarked.
