The Las Vegas Raiders’ offense is struggling to get anything done against the Cleveland Browns. It is 14-3, with the defense forcing two turnovers but the offense unable to capitalize on either.

With the offense giving up seven sacks in this game already, and more lost talent, it could be dangerous. Well, it gets worse when one of the key players on offense leaves the game. Michael Mayer suffered an apparent ankle injury and had to leave the football game.

Without Mayer on the offense, expect the Raiders to get into more three-wide receiver looks. It has been a TE-heavy offense since the return of Brock Bowers to the lineup. Since Mayer is out the rest of the game, it might lead to more targets for the younger players, such as Jack Bech and Dont’e Thornton. However, with this regime still putting Will Putnam on the field despite his awful play, who knows what they will do to help with Mayer’s absence?
