Las Vegas Raiders star defensive end Maxx Crosby has not done a lot of winning in the NFL. The Raiders have only had one playoff appearance and winning season in his six years since the team drafted him in 2019, and they don’t look particularly close to competing for a Super Bowl anytime soon.
This week, Crosby claimed that all he wants to do is win, as long as it’s not with the Kansas City Chiefs. That, to him, would feel empty.
Maxx Crosby has been one of the NFL’s best players since entering the league. In six seasons, he has 59.5 sacks and led the league in tackles for loss in 2022 and 2023. Frankly, those sack numbers would be even better if he wasn’t often trailing in games late and has more pure pass-rushing opportunities.
Crosby’s name has come up in trade conversations for a while. The Raiders need to rebuild, and Crosby would bring back a pretty big haul of assets.
It’s unclear how open Maxx Crosby would be to a trade. But, he’s definitely not open to being traded to the AFC West rival Chiefs.

I can understand his frustration. Since he entered the league, the Chiefs have made five of six Super Bowls and have established themselves as one of the league’s great dynasties. Las Vegas has only beat the Chiefs twice in his career, and there’s no way he has warm feelings about that franchise.
Will Crosby be on the move this offseason? It’s possible, with only two years left on his contract, the contract is definitely movable with limited dead cap remaining. If he is moved, it won’t be to Kansas City.
