The Las Vegas Raiders were idle on Sunday and play on Monday Night Football, but the team’s next two games will have some major 2026 NFL draft implications. The Raiders are one of five two-win teams that are trailing the one-win Tennessee Titans, so a win tonight will put the No. 1 pick virtually out of reach. Also, Las Vegas hosts the 2-8 Cleveland Browns next Sunday, where a top-five selection could be on the line.
With that, let’s look at the updated Top 10 order for the draft, via Tankathon.
Top 10 Order
- Tennessee Titans 1-9 (Week 12: vs. SEA)
- New York Giants 2-9 (Week 12: @ DET)
- Cleveland Browns 2-8 (Week 12: @ LV)
- New Orleans Saints 2-8 (Week 12: vs. ATL)
- New York Jets 2-8 (Week 12: @ BAL)
- Las Vegas Raiders 2-7* (Week 12: vs. CLE)
- Washington Commanders 3-8 (Week 12: Bye)
- Los Angeles Rams via 3-7 Atlanta Falcons (Week 12: @ NO)
- Cincinnati Bengals 3-7 (Week 12: vs. NE)
- Arizona Cardinals 3-7 (Week 12: vs. JAX)
*The Raiders play the 3-5-1 Dallas Cowboys tonight. A win would push the Raiders into a tie with the Rams (via Falcons), Bengals and Cardinals, where Las Vegas would likely slide down to No. 9 based on strength of schedule. A loss would keep Las Vegas at sixth overall since the team has the highest strength of schedule between Cleveland, New Orleans and the New York Jets.
In Other Raiders’ Links:
- Turnover margin: “That turnover/takeaway ratio now sits at 14-10, thanks in large part to single-digit giveaways since Week 5,” Silver and Black Pride’s Ray Aspuria wrote. “While the Silver & Black’s overall record is still basura at 2-7 overall, quelling costly turnovers…keeping possession while creating sudden change with takeaways is mission critical for the back half of the season.”
- Hold out for CJ Carr?: This week’s mailbag column has a heavy emphasis on the offseason, including whether they should wait on the Notre Dame product at quarterback.
- Three must-know storylines for tonight: “How will Smith look after suffering a quad contusion in Week 10? The Raiders signal-caller was not on the injury report for this week, but it’s been a rough first season for Smith in Las Vegas,” NFL media’s Christian Gonzales. “In two prime-time games this season, Smith and the Raiders offense are 0-2 and scoring an average of eight points with 203 total yards.”
- Is it Caleb Rogers’ time?: “It’s a bit more complicated than that, though, which is why part of this is on Rogers showing the Raiders he is ready,” the Las Vegas Review-Journal’s Vincent Bonsignore wrote. “Are they confident he can successfully protect quarterback Geno Smith and running back Ashton Jeanty? Does he know the protection calls, the checks, the audibles?”
