The Las Vegas Raiders are 2-11 and have the 1st pick in the draft in their sights. Injuries have been an issue for the team all season, with the two starters on IR, the offensive line, and now it is leaking to the defense.

Kyu Blu Kelly started the season as a cornerback opposite Eric Stokes. There have been ups and downs for Blu Kelly, but he has recorded three interceptions, but Rookie Darien Porter was beginning to eat into his snaps. However, Blu Kelly’s last snap of 2025 came against the Denver Broncos. He suffered a brutal injury to his leg, which required him to be carted off the field. On Tuesday, he was ruled out for the season after rupturing his patellar tendon in his left knee

The Raiders have signed a cornerback to replace him, but the expectation is that Porter will get a long look to end the year. He has displayed promise and could now help the Raiders decide what to do at cornerback heading into 2026. Hopefully, Blu Kelly has a speedy recovery.
